Eric was first introduced to the world of photography while still in high school. He followed up with a three year photography college major before taking a job as a commercial photographer in his hometown of Montreal.
His passion for outdoor adventure eventually drove him to pack his bags and move to Whistler, British Columbia in 1986.
It was in Whistler that Eric developed his skills as an action sports photographer and in 1991 was recruited by Transworld Snowboarding Magazine as a Senior Contributing Photographer. A position he held for ten years.
Eric began working as a marketing photographer for Whistler Blackcomb resort in 1997 and has been on contract ever since. Over the years he has diversified his efforts, shooting a wide range of projects and contributing to countless publications and clients worldwide.
He has established himself as one of the premier ski and snowboard photographers in the world. His ability to work in big mountain environments under difficult conditions, combined with his visual merging of high-risk sport, alpine topography and evocative composition have given him a signature look and international recognition.
Eric is currently based in Whistler, British Columbia from where he travels the world in his photographic pursuits.
