I’ve just returned from three days of heli-skiing at Pantheon (Bella Coola Helisports’ sister operation) located in  the Chilcotin region of British Columbia, northwest of Williams Lake (just East of Mt Waddington, highest peak in the Coast Range). This was a set-up week where the guides were busy establishing landing areas and assessing the snowpack. As it turned out, the stability was somewhat of a concern so we were kept to lower angle terrain. The scenery however was stunning as we skied among some of the largest mountains I have ever seen.
